OdysseyDevelopments LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we," "us"), is the controller of personal information collected through this website. We are located in Boynton Beach, Florida, USA.

Scope

This policy covers this website only. Each of our products has its own privacy policy, available on its own site:

Services for clients are governed by a separate signed agreement, which also addresses data handling for that work.

What we collect

Development request form: name, email, company or organization (optional), project type, budget range (optional), target timeline (optional), and your project description.

Consultation booking form: name, email, company (optional), discussion topic, preferred date and time, and notes (optional).

Website demo request form: name, phone number, email (optional), business name, business address, a description of your business, and any photos you upload.

Automatically: our hosting provider logs requests, which typically include IP address, user agent, requested page, and timestamps. We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which reports aggregated page-view statistics without cookies.

We do not ask for sensitive personal information. Please do not include any in free-text fields.

How we use it

  • Respond to requests and schedule and confirm consultations, including calendar invitations.
  • Evaluate potential projects.
  • Keep the website secure, including spam filtering, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.
  • Understand aggregate site usage.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors)

  • Consent, where you give it (you may withdraw it at any time).
  • Steps at your request before entering into a contract.
  • Our legitimate interests in running, securing, and improving the website and business.

Who we share it with

We share information only with providers that process it for us, and in limited other cases:

  • Vercel: website hosting and Web Analytics.
  • Brevo: email delivery. When you submit a form, we send a notification to our team and, for bookings, a confirmation with a calendar invitation (.ics file) to you through Brevo. We also add your email address and first name to our contact list in Brevo, and we use it to follow up on your inquiry.
  • Professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants, and insurers, under confidentiality duties.
  • Authorities, where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
  • A successor, in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Website demo requests, including any photos you upload, are emailed to our team through Brevo. Those details are not added to any mailing list.

We do not use a separate third-party calendar service; invitations are emailed as files.

No sale, no targeted advertising

We do not sell personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not run targeted ads.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

We do not track you across other sites. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of sale and sharing, which we do not do in any case. Because we do not track across sites, Do Not Track signals do not change how the website works.

Retention

  • Inquiries that do not lead to an engagement: up to 24 months.
  • Website demo requests follow the same inquiry retention (up to 24 months), unless we become your web provider, in which case they become part of your client record.
  • Client records: as long as needed for the relationship and for legal and tax obligations.
  • Logs and analytics: according to each provider's retention settings.

Security

We use TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. See our Security policy.

International transfers

We process information in the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred there. Where applicable, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information; to object to or restrict processing; and to withdraw consent. Residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights under those laws.

To make a request, email dev@odysseydevelopments.dev. We will verify your identity by matching details you give us to what we hold. An authorized agent may submit a request for you with proof of authorization. We respond within 45 days and may extend once where the law allows, telling you why.

If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying with "Appeal." We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

California notice at collection

  • Identifiers (name, email, phone number, business address, IP address): collected from you and your browser; used to respond, schedule, and secure the site.
  • Commercial information (project details, budget range, if you provide them): collected from you; used to evaluate and scope projects.
  • Internet activity (pages viewed, request logs): collected automatically; used for security and aggregate analytics.
  • Professional information (company name): collected from you; used to respond to your inquiry.
  • Audio, electronic, visual, or similar information (photos you choose to upload with a website demo request): collected from you; used to prepare your demo.

We do not sell or share these categories. Retention periods are described above.

Children

This website is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, as defined by COPPA. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new version with an updated date.
